Dr Gerard Teo graduated from the University of Melbourne School of Dentistry.

Dr. Gerard Teo graduated from Melbourne University with 13 years of local experience and is the leading, award winning dentist in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.

Dr. Gerard has been working in Geelong for the past 13 years, as well as working in Melbourne during the early years of his career. He has keen professional interest in dental implants, orthodontics(braces) and digital smile design. Dr. Gerard has travelled interstate and internationally extensively for further trainings to provide his patients with the comprehensive approach that is often required with complex full mouth rehabilitation cases. These include:

– the Dental Implantology Academy and University of Miami Live Implant Surgery Program, Full Arch Solutions, and Advanced Implantology- Surgical Techniques

– the Progressive Orthodontics Seminar for fixed orthodontics

– Invisalign Mastering Aligning Course training 

– Phelan Occlusal Designs and Functions

– Digital smile design with CEREC technology

Some of Dr. Gerard’s achievements throughout his career include:

– completing more than 1000 new smile makeovers

– designing and bonding thousands of bespoke porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges, using state-of-the-art CEREC technology 

– completing hundreds of dental implants cases and placed more than 1000 dental implants with high success rates, including single dental implants, All-teeth-on-4 upper and lower dental implants full arch rehabilitations and implant-supported overdentures

– completed hundreds of orthodontic cases, including traditional metal braces and Invisalign clear aligners 

In recognition of his achievements, Dr. Gerard has been awarded as the top three cosmetic dentists in Geelong for 2021, 2022 and 2023 by threebestrated.com.au. He also led Geelong West Dental to win the Geelong Business Excellence Awards 2023 (Best First-Year Entry).

With passion for patient-centred care, Dr. Gerard always listens to patient’s individual needs. Above all, Dr. Gerard is  committed to help patients overcome their dental anxiety and fear of dentists. 

Dr. Gerard speaks fluent English, Malay and Mandarin language. Apart from his passion for dentistry, Dr. Gerard enjoys music and gardening. He loves sharing his garden produce with his staff and patients.

 

 

 

 

Dr Wei graduated from the University of Melbourne School of Dentistry.

Dr. Wei graduated from Melbourne University and has been practising in Geelong ever since. With more than 13 years of experience, Dr. Wei provides all aspects of modern dentistry.

A keen believer in continuing professional education, Dr. Wei has travelled both locally and internationally for further studies. She has completed further training at Dental Implantology Academy, The University of Sydney, Sydney Dental Hospital and Progressive Orthodontics.

Dr. Wei finds it fulfilling to care for our patients, many whom were referred or recommended to us by their family and friends. She believes in patient centred care and a treatment philosophy that puts people first, which reflects in every aspect of our patients’ journey at Geelong West Dental.

Apart from her passion for dentistry, Dr. Wei loves food, culture and traveling. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Malay language. She believes in healthy living and community spirit and brings her passion for dental care to the Geelong community.
